Description

The Williams County Vector Control District #1 Board's mission is to decrease the presence of vector and nuisance mosquitoes to prevent vector borne disease transmission and increasing the quality of life for people in the region. Powers and duties are set forth in North Dakota Century Code Chapter 23-24 and include the power and duty to: declare the existence of potential or emergency health hazards; eradicate public health vectors (mosquitos) which cause a potential or emergency health hazard, including the consideration of technical information; enter upon and inspect public and private land at reasonable times for or to control public health vectors and their breeding places. Compensation: $100 per meeting + actual expenses
