Typically McGregor Dam is closed for camping on Tuesdays and Wednesdays due to the North Dakota Game and Fish Department rules for certain Wildlife Management Areas.

Camping fees are cash or check only and must be paid upon arrival. All campsites are first come, first served.
Primitive Campsites: $10/night
Primitive camping is allowed anywhere on park land, but campfires are only allowed in fire rings.
Electric Campsites: $15/night
There are 17 campsites with electrical hookups (20/30/50 amp).
Boating
Motorized and non-motorized watercraft are allowed, but the lake is NO WAKE.
