About
Little Egypt is a waterfront park located on Lake Sakakawea about 30 miles south of Ray. The park offers picnic areas, camping, and direct access to Lake Sakakawea for swimming and non-motorized watercraft.

Camping
Camping fees are cash or check only and must be paid upon arrival. All campsites are first come, first served.
Primitive Campsites: $10/night
Primitive camping is allowed anywhere on park land, but campfires are only allowed in fire rings. Camping is NOT allowed on the beach per U.S. Army Corps of Engineers rules.
Electric Campsites: $15/night
There are 13 campsites with electrical (20/30/50 amp) and non-potable water hookups. 9/30/2021: Water at the Little Egypt campsites has been shut off for the season.
Boating
Non-motorized watercraft such as kayaks and canoes can be launched from the beach. The amount of beach exposed fluctuates throughout the year depending on the water level of Lake Sakakawea. Boat ramps for motorized watercraft can be found at Little Beaver Bay, Lund's Landing or Lewis and Clark State Park.
