The park at Kota Ray Dam is located about 10 miles south of Ray and offers fishing, camping, boating and more.
Motorized and non-motorized watercraft are allowed, but the lake is NO WAKE.
Make a Campsite Reservation
Williams County now offers the ability to reserve electric campsites online for Kota Ray Dam! For 2022, electric campsites may be reserved same day or in advance for the duration of the year for a maximum of 14 days (13 nights) and a maximum of four sites per reservation, per person. Campsites can still also be reserved onsite/day of by paying at the park with cash or check.
Credit card (American Express, Visa, Discover, and MasterCard) is accepted online for electric campsites. A service fee of $3 will be applied to each reservation plus a service fee for using a credit/debit card (minimum of $2.50 or 4.5%). Cash or check are accepted onsite at the campground (please visit the pay station) for both electric and primitive campsites.
Primitive Campsites: $10/night
Primitive camping is allowed anywhere on park land, but campfires are only allowed in fire rings.
Electric Campsites: $15/night
There are 19 campsites with electrical hookups (20/30/50 amp).
Check-in begins at 3 pm CT and checkout is at 2 pm CT. If you made your reservation online, please check-in using the link provided via email. Check your spam if you did not receive the email!
If you plan to reserve a site at the park, please deposit your payment at the pay station then text 701-580-1628. Include the last name of the party, the number of nights you plan to stay and the campsite number.
