Williams County Sheriff’s Office searching for suspect, Jacob Long
WILLISTON, N.D. (December 14, 2022) – In the early morning hours of Wednesday, December 14, the Williams County Sheriff’s Office responded to the Buford area in southwestern Williams County for a report of a deceased female. When Deputies arrived on scene, they located a 30 year old female
and confirmed that she was deceased. The incident is currently under investigation and no additional information will be released at this time.
The Williams County Sheriff’s Office requests the public’s assistance in their search for a suspect in the investigation, 34-year-old, Jacob Long. Long is a white male that is approximately 5’10, 175 lbs, with brown eyes and brown hair. Long is to be considered armed and dangerous. Please do not ap
proach or try and engage the suspect, immediately call 911. Anonymous tips can be sent to the Sheriff’s Office by texting the keyword NDWILLIAMS and your message/tip to 847411. Please include as much detail as possible. You may also send picture or video attachments.
