Squid City Slingers at Kota Ray Dam | 2025 Summer Concert Series
Join us for not only the first Parks concert of the summer, but the first concert in our NEW amphitheater at Kota Ray Dam! Williams County and DMJ Productions are excited to present the Squid City Slingers for this inaugural event. The concert is free and open to the public. Restrooms are available, but please bring your own refreshments and chairs.
About the band: Squid City Slingers is a high-energy trio blending bluegrass, folk, gypsy jazz, and rock. Based in Minnesota, they’ve built a strong following in the Twin Cities and Twin Ports with driving stand-up bass, fiery fiddle, and flat-picking guitar. Their mix of heartfelt originals and handpicked covers delivers foot-stomping energy and rich harmonies.
Their upcoming EP, “Harbors & Highways”, recorded at Library Recording Studio in Minneapolis, drops in Summer 2025, with their first single, “Feed My Fire,” releasing soon. With new music, expanding tours, and growing demand, Squid City Slingers are on the rise as one of the Midwest’s most exciting new acoustic acts.
About the park: Kota Ray Dam is about a 15 minute drive from Ray and 35 minute drive from Williston. The new amphitheater is located on the north side of the park, adjacent to a new comfort station and group campsites, and is just a bike ride away from our new kids bicycle park.
