The concert is free and open to the public. Restrooms are available, but please bring your own refreshments and chairs.
About the band: Jessie Veeder has been a symbol of folk music in western North Dakota since she released her first original album when she was only sixteen years old. It was an effort that took her from performing at fairs and festivals around her home state to launching a music and writing career that has her telling the story of rural living through the captivating lens of a woman who lives it every day.
Jessie’s a powerful storyteller, on paper, on stage and in song. Her nationally acclaimed song “Boomtown,” a folk ballad about life in Bakken has been featured on area news programs, national and international documentaries and put her on the frontlines of telling the story of community in oil country.
About the park: Little Egypt is a waterfront park and campground located about 30 minutes east of Williston.
