About the Program

The Community Grant Program is divided into two types of grants: Project Assistance Grants and Matching Grants.

Project Assistance Grants

In 2023, the Williams County Board of County Commissioners (BOCC) is pleased to make a total of $800,000 in Project Assistance Grants available through its Community Grant Program. A maximum of $800,000 is available across two grant funding cycles for the purpose of financially assisting community projects that have a public purpose and aim to improve quality of life, preserve historic sites, buildings or artifacts, fulfill an essential community need (e.g., daycare, recreation), and enhance community programming in Williams County.

Matching Grants

In 2023, the Williams County Board of County Commissioners (BOCC) is making $200,000 in Matching Grants available through its Community Grant Program. Applications for a Matching Grant will be accepted on a rolling basis with a final deadline of November 13, 2023 at 5 pm CT, unless the available grant funds are depleted sooner. A maximum of $200,000 is available for the purpose of financially assisting community projects that require a match of funds to fulfill the requirements of a different grant program administered by a federal, state, or local government organization, or other entity.
