Effective 9/19/25 – 121st Ave NW Road Closure

Effective Friday, 9/19/25, at 8:00am (CST) Wheelock Township will be closing 121st Ave NW from Hwy 2 north to 66th St NW for culvert repairs.  The work should be completed by 12:00pm (CST).

9/10/25 – CR 17A Restriction Update

Effective immediately, 9/10/25 – Williams County is lifting the “no oversize travel” restriction on CR 17A (52nd St NW) from Hwy 1804 going east 2 miles to 110th Ave NW; and CR 17A (110th Ave NW) north 1 mile to 53rd St NW.  This road will now be restricted “by llegal weight”.

78th St NW – Re-opened

Effective immediately, 9/8/25 – Winner Township has reopened 78th St NW from Hwy 85 going west 1 mile to 137th Ave NW.

CR 11 Reopened – 8/28/25

CR 11A – Re-opened

Effective immediately today, 8/4/25, CR 11A (48th St NW), the 2.5 miles that was closed –  located south of Hwy 1804 is now open for travel as the culvert installation has been completed.

Thursday 5/22/2025 – Effective immediately, 3:00pm (CST) 5/22/2025 – all zones are now restricted to the 7-ton axle weight – 105,500 LBS GVW until further notice. Wednesday 5/21/2025 – Williams County is continuing to have all zones in Williams County and all Township gravel and chip seal roads to be restricted to the 20,000 LBS GVW until further notice. Champion Township Rain Restriction

Effective immediately, 3:50pm (CST) today, 5/15/25 – Champion Township is restricting all their township gravel roads to “no truck traffic” due to the rains received.  This will be until further notice.
