Williams County Sheriff’s Office Statement on Accidental Discharge of a Firearm
WILLISTON, N.D. (December 1, 2025): On Saturday, November 29, 2025, the Williams County Sheriff’s Office responded to an incident related to the discharge of a firearm that injured a minor. The incident occurred in rural Williams County.
After an initial investigation, it was determined that it was an accidental discharge of the firearm and no charges will be issued. As of December 1, 2025, the minor is in stable condition.
No other information will be released regarding this incident.
