Weight Restrictions – Gravel and Chip Seal Roads – 5/16/2022

UPDATE 5/16/2022 @ 10:00am (CST): RESTRICTIONS ON WILLIAMS COUNTY AND TOWNSHIP GRAVEL AND CHIP SEAL ROADS WILL RETURN TO REGULAR “FROST RESTRICTIONS”.

CHAMPION TOWNSHIP ROADS WILL REMAIN AT THE 20,000 LBS (GVW) UNTIL FURTHER NOTICE.

UPDATE 5/15/2022 @ 12 pm CT: Effective at 3 pm CT today, 5/15, Williams County and Township gravel and chip seal roads will be restricted to 7 ton axle weight – 105,000 lbs (GVW), no Overweight (over axle and over gross) and no Oversize travel.
Champion and Brooklyn Townships will remain at 20,000 lbs (GVW) until further notice.
Roads will continue to be evaluated throughout today and tomorrow.

UPDATE 5/15/2022 @ 8:20 am CT: Effective at 10 am today, 5/15, Williams County and Township gravel and chip seal roads will be restricted to 6 ton axle weight – 80,000 lbs (GVW) until further notice.
Champion and Brooklyn Townships will remain at 20,000 lbs (GVW) until further notice.
 
Roads will continue to be evaluated throughout the day.

UPDATE 5/14/2022 @ 10:00 AM (CST): Effective from 12 pm until 4 pm CT, today, 5/14, Williams County and Township gravel and chip seal roads will be restricted to 6 ton axle weight – 80,000 lbs (GVW).

At 4 pm CT, today, 5/14, Williams County and Township gravel and chip seal roads will return to the 20,000 lbs (GVW) restriction.

Champion and Brooklyn Townships will remain at 20,000 lbs (GVW) until further notice.

UPDATE 5/12/2022 @ 12:00PM (CST):  Effective from 12:00pm – 4:00pm (CST), Williams County and Township gravel and chip seal roads will be restricted to 6 ton axle weight – 80,000 LBS (GVW).

At 4:00pm (CST), 5/12/2022 – Williams County and Township gravel and chip seal roads will return to the 20,000 LBS (GVW) restriction.

 

UPDATE 5/11/2022 @ 3:00PM (CST):  Effective today, 5/11/2022, at 5:00pm CT, Williams County and Township gravel and chip seal roads will be restricted to 20,000 LBS (GVW).  Roads will continue to be reevaluated throughout today and tomorrow.

UPDATE 5/11 @ 11:45 am: Effective today, 5/11, at 2 pm CT, Williams County and Township gravel and chip seal roads will be restricted to 6 ton axle weight – 80,000 lbs (GVW). As the rain continues, the restriction may be lowered in the future. Roads will continue to be reevaluated throughout today and tomorrow.

Effective at 12:00 pm (CST), today, 5/11/2022, – all County and Township gravel and chip seal roads will be restricted to NO OVERWEIGHT (over axle and over gross) and NO OVERSIZE travel, due to moisture received.

As the rain continues this restriction may be lowered in the future. Roads will continued to be re-evaluated throughout today and tomorrow.
