How do I pay a ticket?

Tickets issued by the Williams County Sheriff’s Office or the North Dakota Highway Patrol can be paid in person at the Clerk of Court, by mail, or online. The Clerk of Court is open Monday through Friday, 8 am to 5 pm; they are located on the first floor of the Williams County Courthouse (205 E Broadway in downtown Williston).

Acceptable forms of payment for paying in person include check, cash, credit card (except American Express), debit card, money order, or cashier’s check.

If paying by mail, acceptable forms of payment include check, money order, or cashier’s check. Mail payment along with a note indicating the name of the individual who the ticket was for to:
