10/8/2025: The Williams County Vector Control District (WCVCD) will be conducting the following ground adulticide treatments tonight, 10/8/2025, near sunset, weather and conditions permitting:
- City of Ray
- Williston Spray Block 7 (https://arcg.is/0nfu890)
WCVCD will be using DeltaGard (active ingredient: Deltamethrin), which is approved for use in residential areas. Residents are reminded to maintain a distance of at least 300 feet from Vector Control trucks during fogging operations.
To avoid mosquito bites, residents are also encouraged to take precautions when spending time outdoors between dusk and dawn such as:
- Wearing long sleeve tight knit shirts and long pants
- Limiting time outdoors between dusk and dawn
- Using a mosquito repellent such as DEET, Picardin, or oil of lemon eucalyptus
- Eliminating standing water on your property
