DMV and Drivers License Offices Closed May 4th-6th, 2022

Posted on May 2, 2022

Upgrades to the computer system used for all motor vehicle and drivers license services across North Dakota will limit available services May 4th-8th, 2022.  Beginning at 3pm on May 4th (Wednesday) through May 6th (Friday) the Williams County Department of Motor Vehicle (DMV) Registrations will be closed for system modernization and staff training.  Drivers License offices and online services across North Dakota, including kiosks, will also be unavailable May 4th-8th.

The North Dakota Department of Transportation administers all drivers license and motor vehicle services in North Dakota through kiosks, an online platform and contracted community branch offices.  Williams County has operated the Williston DMV Branch Office since January 1st, 2019.  More information regarding the system upgrades and service interruption is available here
