Confluence Campground

About

The Confluence Campground is located approximately 20 miles west of Williston and is just down the road from the Missouri-Yellowstone Confluence Interpretive Center. It is also close to the Fort Buford State Historic Site and the Fort Union Trading Post National Historic Site.

The Confluence Campground is a popular location during paddlefish snagging season, which is from May 1 - 21 each year. Check out this blog post from Visit Williston for more information about how to prepare for a paddlefish adventure and be sure to review the rules and regulations on the ND Game & Fish website. Keep in mind that you must purchase a paddlefish tag in addition to a regular fishing license. Tags can only be purchased through ND Game & Fish, either online or at one of their offices. If purchasing online, make sure to order it well in advance of your trip to allow enough time for it to arrive in the mail.

The campground is managed by the Williams County Water Resource District Board.
