Mill Levy Information
The Williams County Finance Department is responsible for calculating mill levies for each tax year. All taxing districts in the County (e.g. cities, townships, schools, rural fire, ambulance, etc.) submit budgets to the Finance Department to perform these calculations.

The County issues a consolidated tax statement that details the taxes owed to each taxing district based on their budget requests and mill levy calculations.
  • Estimated tax statements for real estate are mailed by August 31st. Estimated tax statements do NOT need to be paid.
  • Final tax statements for real estate are mailed by December 26th. Final tax statements DO need to be paid.
