registrations are waived from March 1, 2020, until declared disaster has ended.
The Williston Motor Vehicle Office (DMV) has been relocated from its former location on E Highland Drive to the Williams County Administration Building at 206 E Broadway in downtown Williston. The DMV is located on the first floor and the main entrance is located on the south side of the Administration Building.
This office does not process drivers license applications. The Drivers License Office is located 537 W Dakota Pkwy, Williston, ND 58801, and is operated by the State of North Dakota.
The Williston Motor Vehicle Office (DMV) provides vehicle registration services as well as passport services.
If using a credit or debit card to pay for charges from the DMV, please note that it will display as "Williams County General Treasurer" on your card statement.
